![]() ![]() I am fine with both of those elements, but, at times, I wanted less focus on Gus (the daughter), and more on the main characters. The Lights on Knockbridge Lane is for those who like books with heavy focus on children and family (the daughter plays a HUGE role in the book) and doesn't mind a lower-steam kind of story. ![]() I liked having some background knowledge about the side characters but it isn't at all necessary to follow the story. ![]() ![]() It is a sweet story in the Garnet Run series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. My main goal of 2020-2021 is to find books that captivate me and take me out of my head (I think we can all agree on that), and The Lights on Knockbridge Lane mostly succeeded on that front. It's a warm, fuzzy Christmas romance, but you do have to be in a particular mood to read it. I really enjoyed The Lights on Knockbridge Lane by Roan Parrish, even if I found it a bit hard to focus on the story at times. ![]()
